I want to take a moment to answer a question we have received from students admitted to The N.U.in Program regarding the transition to campus in January. Although excited to be apart of the Northeastern community, some students and parents have questions about the University’s welcoming process when students arrive in January. I can assure you that students who transition to campus in the spring receive a similar welcome experience and enrollment process as students enrolling in the fall. Welcome Week, a traditional program at NU, provides spring students with opportunity to meet their new classmates, get to know campus and tour the city of Boston. This all takes place between Move-in and the first day of classes. N.U.in participants also attend the third and final Orientation session during this time, to further assist with the transition to Boston.
While we do wish we could accommodate more students for the fall, we are fortunate to have The N.U.in Program as another enrollment opportunity. If you are considering N.U.in but still have questions, please contact the Admissions office at 617.373.2200 or join the Official N.U.in Program Group on Facebook to chat with N.U.in alums and other students entering the programs.
Until next time…
